Dear GP & Pharmacist,
I have been having health issues for a very long time, since 1986 in fact when I contracted without knowing it Hepatitis B.
The ME/CFS was a comorbidity that afflicted me in parallel.
As the NHS didn’t seem to understand what was wrong with me, attributed it to nerves but the symptoms were real.
I managed to stabilise myself & even cured myself from what became Chronic Hepatitis.
This prepared me for the new challenge which is COVID & Long COVID.
Even though you pigeonholed me as Diabetes type 2 which is correct according to measurements but not the root cause of this systemic syndrome caused by SARSCoV2.
I write about this at length on Twitter & also on my healing blog.
I consult with consultants I come across on social networks, and also my niece in France who is a medical consultant herself & whose husband is a Hospital’s Director.
It is important for me that I am correctly diagnosed & pigeonholed as a Long COVID & ME/CFS sufferer.
Not just Diabetic, but of course insulin intolerance needs to be addressed as part of my treatment. Also complications that may arise from Diabetes & this Long COVID syndrome.
I have been advised that because of my ME/CFS morbidity, it was ill advised to give me the drug (forxiga/dapagliflozin) you gave me for Diabetes management.
Gliclazide delivers a good palliative control of sugar levels that give me some release from symptoms associated with high sugar levels.
I also use nutrients, food & supplements that help in the management of symptoms & protection of tissues & organs.
As I spoke earlier with one of your associate pharmacists, there are two drugs that came to my attention that happen to be Diabetes drugs but also have been found to treat associated immune dysfunction & inflammation in patients with ME/CFS.
I have captured in my cloud Dropbox the relevant articles of the research on this matter.
I also advised your pharmacist colleague that I will be happy & in fact eager to trial these two drugs, sequentially as I will note my progress in my medical log & maybe healing blog.
The two drugs are: vildagliptin and saxagliptin.
Here are the links to the research & the paper proper:

I was also advised that to improve my immune dysfunction I could consider monoclonal antibodies therapy, which I won’t mind trialling if my condition gets any worse.
You witnessed that using orthomolecular medicine & alternative therapies such as magnetic pulsed devices allows me to control some aspects of my medical charts readings.
The last bout relapses occurred because of another yet COVID infection I believe to have contracted at my dentist’s appointment for some crown work a couple of months ago.
I trust to have explained myself clearly that I am an active participant in my medical handling & management.
Kind regards.
